Terms and Conditions

  1. Reservation of the Videographer / Photographer’s services are guaranteed only upon receiving deposit.
  2. Remaining balance is due 14 days before the Job date or as agreed with Fay Films.
  3. Fay Films reserves the right to use the video footage for promotional purposes, including but not exclusive to social media & our website. Any objection to this term must be made in writing / email when confirming the booking.
  4. Creative aspects such as shooting and editing style are at the discretion of Fay Films.
  5. Fay Films will not be held liable for any production problems beyond our control, e.g., bad weather, accidents, poor acoustics / lighting, interference from public, etc.
  6. It is the client’s responsibility to secure access to areas & venues for Videography / Photography. Fay Films will not be responsible for coverage lost due to access restrictions.
  7. Cancellation by the client: If for any reason you need to cancel our services the deposit will be non- refundable.
  8. Changing of date by the client: If for any reason the client needs to change the date of the job, every effort will be made to accommodate you. This is subject to availability & cannot be guaranteed. Deposit will be non-refundable if a new date cannot be agreed.
  9. Cancellation by Fay Films. If in the unlikely event that due to unforeseen circumstances including, but not exclusive to illness or death, we will endeavour to find a replacement videographer for your day. In the case of a replacement videographer not being available, the client will be entitled to & limited to a full refund of any monies paid to Fay Films.
  10. It is assumed that by booking us, you have seen samples of our work & portfolio & therefore are aware of our style & abilities. If however you are not satisfied with the end product we will only be liable up to the cost of any monies paid to us.
  11. DVD’s & USB’s are encoded in a standard format that will play on most common TV & DVD equipment. Fay Films cannot be held responsible for players that the DVDs or USB will not play on.
  12. Upon taking possession of the finished product, the client must inform Fay Films of any technical or other problems with the film within 7 days. After 7 days, if no notification has been received, the client will be deemed satisfied with the product.
  13. We aim to have your finished product back to you within 8 weeks. You will be contacted if this is set to be any longer. No financial penalty can be claimed against us for any delays past 8 weeks.
  14. Any liability on the part of Fay Films will be limited to the amount of monies paid.
  15. Copyright will be owned by Fay Films, but we do allow the customer rights to make copies for non- commercial use
